It’s a two year Course.

Those who have successfully
completed the BSW, BA, B.Com. or
B.Sc. or any Graduate of statutory
University may apply for the first
year.
- At
the end of every semester,
examinations are conducted by the
North Maharashtra University,
Jalgaon.

Medium of instructions is English
and Marathi.

Each student is placed under a
supervisor for field work and
Research project.
- In
the first year, students have to
attend the 7 to 10 days Rural camp
which is mandatorily.
- In
the second year, students have to
attend a supervised study tour,
compulsory

SYLLABUS
Syllabus for MSW ( Ist ,
IInd) are as per the norms
of North Maharashtra
University Jalgaon and are
available at University
web-site (www.nmu.ac.in) and
college web-site (www.pjncoswa.org)
and is also available in
college library.

Candidates those satisfying
the eligibility requirement
will be assessed for
selection through the
following programme.
Common Entrance Test (
CET)
The Entrance test will be
conducted by KBC NMU Jalgaon
/ College as per university
norms. The pattern of
Examination is as follows.
A) Written Test-
Written test aims at
assessment of knowledge
about social issues, current
events and sensitivity about
social issues and knowledge
of English language will be
assessed and the time
allotted is 60 minutes.
B) Group Discussion-
Group discussion will be
held to asses the knowledge
and sensitivity on social
issues orally to the
candidates. The time
allotted is 20 minutes.
C) Personnel Interview-
The candidates are also
expected to be acquainted
with the MSW programme, as
the questions may be asked
on the topic during the
personnel interview.
Candidates will be required
to come with the original
documents and certificates
for the interviews before
the interview panel. In this
entrance, entrance committee
have reserve right to do
changes. |
